POLICY OF EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES IN ACCESS TO POSITIONS
Szlachet-Stal implements a policy of equal opportunities in access to newly created jobs. The actions taken by Szlachet-Stal are aimed at removing barriers that currently limit, especially for women, people 50+, people with disabilities, people who are studying, the possibility of obtaining employment in the company. The following actions will be taken as part of the implementation of the policy of equal opportunities:
I. FLEXIBLE FORMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Szlachet-Stal is aware of the diverse social needs of different groups, and therefore accepts that employees can choose the style of work or career path that best suits their own best-understood work-life balance. During discussions with the supervisor, open communication regarding the needs and plans of the employee/employee, including not only professional ones, is preferred. This approach will make it possible to incorporate the expectations of the employee/employee and the company into the development plan. Conversations are particularly important for women planning a career break due to parental plans. The aforementioned activities carried out by the company are aimed at the full, practical implementation of equal opportunities and ensuring the possibility of realization of individual plans and intentions of female employees/employees.The realization of this policy will be implemented flexible forms of employment for newly created positions, such as: – flexible working hours, – part-time work, This is particularly important in the context of planning future career development. The company also makes it possible to take a career break in order to: – study; – care for dependents; – travel, etc. Part of the policy for reconciling work and family life is the policy on maternity and parental leave. Under this program, an employee who applies for maternity or parental leave should specify if and when she plans to return to work. She will be informed about signing a named replacement contract with a “third party” temporary worker. This solution is intended to increase the sense of job security for the woman going on leave; she will be aware that she will perform work in the same position upon her return. The company will allow female employees who declare their intention to return to work to participate in key training courses. As a result, a female employee who decides to take a break from work is not subject to exclusion from development. Upon returning to work, a woman can, for example: – make her working hours more flexible by deciding to work part-time, – use mobile working hours (e.g., 9-11 a.m. and 2-8 p.m.). Another of the flexible forms of employment planned for implementation is the company’s use of equivalent working hours. Its purpose is to allow an employee to extend his working time one day up to 12 hours and shorten it on another day of the week or to take the whole day off at another time. A shortened working day or a day off in the middle of the week will make it much easier, for example, for women to reconcile their professional and personal lives.
II. TRAINING
Szlachet-Stal will provide training to all persons admitted to the following production positions: – CNC equipment operator; – Laser operator. There will be training in the operation of CNC and laser equipment for newly admitted persons, regardless of gender, qualifications, age, degree of disability, etc., thus eliminating access to these positions for persons without qualifications.
